A: Depending on conditions, the mapped location provided by the sentryGPSid™ child locator is typically accurate within 15 meters. However, as with any wireless device, certain environmental factors can impede the device's performance and reduce the accuracy.

A: The sentryGPSid™ device is just slightly larger than a 9-volt battery, so it easily fits in most pants and shirt pockets as well as many other places. The sentryGPSid™ can also be easily afixed directly to a belt with the included pouch.

A: Yes. You can register a virtually limitless number of sentryGPSid devices on your account and select whether to view just one device, multiple devices, or all of your devices at once.
A: Each device is individually color-coded so you can see at a glance which device is which. Additionally, when you rollover any location point on the map an information bubble will display giving you the name associated with the device, the longitude, lattitude, address, and the time and date of when the location was reported.
A: The following browser versions are supported: Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2 and 3, Safari for Leopard. Internet Explorer 6 is not compatible.
A: Soon you will also be able to locate your device by texting your special code to our SMS service and you will receive the adress where you sentryGPSid device was last positioned. We are also establishing an a toll free emergency hotline and one of our operators will be able to assist you with locating your device.
